Privacy Policy

Elure ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Elure Ltd. We provide a service that converts video content into branded PDF lead magnets. Our website is getelure.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@getelure.com.

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information — your email address and password (hashed) when you sign up.
• Video content — files you upload for processing. Audio is extracted and transcribed; the original file is not stored beyond what is needed to complete the job.
• Brand settings — your brand name, logo, colours, website URL, and social handle if you choose to supply them.
• Payment information — billing details are collected and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and timestamps, collected automatically via server logs and analytics.

• To generate and deliver your eBooks.
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To send transactional emails (job completion, receipts, account notices).
• To improve the product and diagnose technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or use it to train AI models.

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases for processing: performance of our contract with you (to create and deliver your eBooks, manage your account, and process payments); our legitimate interests (to improve the product, secure the platform, and understand aggregate usage); and compliance with legal obligations.

We share data with the following categories of service providers to operate the platform. These providers are based in the United States, so using Elure involves transferring your data outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where we make such a transfer, it is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.

• Deepgram — audio transcription. The audio extracted from your video is sent to Deepgram to produce a transcript, subject to their privacy policy.
• Anthropic — content generation. Your transcript is sent to Anthropic to structure and write your eBook, subject to their privacy policy.
• OpenAI — image generation. We send text prompts (not your video or transcript) to OpenAI to generate cover art and social assets, subject to their privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Supabase — database and file storage for your account data and generated PDFs.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly usage analytics. Governed by Vercel's privacy policy.
• Railway — cloud infrastructure that runs our audio and PDF processing services.

Anthropic and OpenAI do not use your content to train their models when accessed through their business APIs, as we do. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated PDFs are stored for 30 days after creation and then automatically deleted. Uploaded video files are deleted immediately after transcription is complete. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@getelure.com.

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and Stripe sets cookies during checkout to process payments securely. These cookies are strictly necessary to operate the service. We also use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage — it is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and, where applicable, data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getelure.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level security on our database, and restricted access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Elure is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact us and we will delete the data promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
